Latest of Covid-19; RTHK new programme

2021-04-29
On Thursday's Backchat, latest developments in Covid-19 - and the CE's new TV programme.

Hong Kong and Singapore announced on Monday that a long-awaited “travel bubble” will start on May 26 at the earliest, following the easing of the coronavirus situation in the two places.
Under the agreement, residents will be allowed to travel between Hong Kong and Singapore on designated flights, without the need to quarantine.
How attractive is the travel bubble scheme to Singaporean visitors to HK and vice-versa? Who are more likely to be the first batch of people taking part in the scheme? As more and more people have been vaccinated, is there any possibility to relax quarantine requirements? What about bars? What advantages should vaccinated people have?
From 9:15am-9:30am, we'll be discussing the CE's new programme : "Get to Know the Election Committee Subsectors".
