On Wednesday's programme, we're talking about medicine use among seniors. The Pharmaceutical Care Foundation called on the medical sector to set-up a unified prescription drug system, warning that the current mechanism leaves the city's elderly vulnerable to the side effects of overprescription.

In one example, a patient was prescribed 32 different drugs, ranging from injections to oral pills. Experts said that such cases should receive more support, as some patients might forget to take their medicine on time or even overdose.


So what can we do to better scrutinise medicine use among seniors? Could a multidrug pill be the solution?
