Viceover man/TV presenter John Culkin
2020-09-19
As an 18-year-old, voiceover man/TV presenter John Culkin came to Hong Kong in 1969. His father was in Britain's Royal Air Force. Within a few months, he was reporting the news on Rediffusion (RTV) and then working for years for several media outlets simultaneously. On this weekend's Hong Kong Heritage, John, the voice of government APIs, tells me about 50 years in TV and broadcasting.
Every week, journalist, broadcaster and local historian, Annemarie Evans, explores Hong Kong, digging up many (often forgotten or unknown) aspects of our cultural, architectural, and artistic heritage.
