YouTube and music labels negotiating deals to license songs for AI training, Screening of “AI script

YouTube may just be the first company to pay music labels a copyright fee for artificial intelligence training. 

The video sharing platform is reportedly offering a large amount of money to licence holders in exchange for using their songs to further develop its AI music generative feature.

The news also came after major record labels filed lawsuits against Udio and Suno, two AI music generator startups accused of copyright infringement.
