Now with Podcast, you can subscribe to audios and videos via the podcasting software. The latest audio and video contents will automatically reach at your fingertips for your regular check-out of their availability. You may also download the files and transfer them to play back anytime on a portable media player (mp3/mp4).
No. The “RTHK Podcasts” is a free service. You can subscribe to any programme you like.
For PC Users:
- Use iTunes to subscribe and download RTHK programmes (Users should first load the iTunes software by themselves) :
- Use Google Reader to subscribe and download programmes (Users have to own a Google account) :
a.First, log in a Google account. |
b.Press the “Google Reader” button on the programme page. |
c.You will be guided to the below page (See the image). Please select “Add to Google Reader”: |

d.Go to “Google Reader” and click open the links of episodes of programme underneath “subscription”. The related programme will be played automatically. |
e.If you wish to download the programme, just place the mouse pointer at the episode links. Then right click the mouse on “Save link as...”. |

For Mac Users:
- Use iTunes to subscribe and download RTHK programmes (Users should first load the iTunes software by themselves) :
a.Press the “iTunes” button on the programme frontpage. |
b.Upon successfully subscribe to a programme, its latest episode will be automatically downloaded to your computer via iTunes. You may also download all or select particular episodes from the list of “subscribed programmes” by pressing “Get all” or “Get” button. |
c.Downloading the programme. |

d.Download completed. You may play the programme anytime you like. (Quickly double-click on the selected episodes) |
e.If you wish to delete the episodes, you may select the episode title(s) and then right click your mouse to “delete” it. (*Likewise, episode title(s) will be deleted in the programme list) |

No need. If your computer is readily connected to the internet, you may gain free access via free software, such as iTunes or Google Reader. You can also visit the RTHK Podcasts webpage to watch or listen the programmes directly.
Yes. You may click on the download button (see image) next to the selected programme once, and then follow the computer instructions.
