On Wednesday's Backchat, domestic helpers; and Law Society.

Foreign domestic helpers from the Philippines and Indonesia will be allowed to enter Hong Kong starting from next Monday, as long as they have received two doses of Covid-19 jabs.
Philippine authorities estimated that as many as 3,000 helpers will be able to fly in, but CE Carrie Lam said the SAR cannot allow thousands of workers to enter each week and their numbers will have to be controlled.
The government has already identified one hotel where helpers will spend 21 days in quarantine. It is understood that the Silka Hotel in Tsuen Wan will be able to supply about 400 rooms.
Many employers said they are facing a labour shortage due to pandemic flight bans, but they are also worried the new arrivals may bring the highly infectious Delta variant with them.
What do you think of the measures? Is it worth the risk for letting helpers in? Should arrivals be quarantined at hotels or special camps?
After 9.15am, we’re joined by Legislator Holden Chow to discuss results in the Law Society election.
