On Friday's Backchat, we'll talk about water quality in Hong Kong.
A new study this week by Swiss and Swedish researchers found that rain water everywhere around the world is now unsafe to drink because of the presence of dangerous levels of so-called 'forever chemicals' —Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl — or PFAS. These are substances that are commonly found in a variety of consumer goods, from non-stick pans to paint and waterproof clothing.
So how is our drinking water affected? How can we improve its quality?
After 9am, we’ll look at the new dress Casual Fridays for civil Servants, aimed at encouraging government staff to take part in more sports and recreational activities.
