The government has lowered the minimum age for children taking the Sinovac vaccine to six months, down from five years previously, as incidences of serious Covid cases among young children
increase.
But BioNTech jabs won’t be allowed for under-5s yet, as authorities continue trying to procure smaller doses of the vaccine for children directly from the manufacturer.
