The SCMP has reported that it has learned from sources that next week's NPC Standing Committee's meeting will discuss whether to allow those with British Nationals (Overseas) passports to hold public office.
Earlier, Regina Ip had called for Beijing to strip residents with foreign citizenship of their right to permanent residency. What do you think of the ideas? Should they apply to all foreign passport holders?
