Antiquarian Jonathan Wattis talks  about his latest exhibition featuring a collection of early original Hong Kong maps and charts some of which appear in the landmark book Mapping Hong Kong, 1992: A Historical Atlas by Hal Empson. Out chat includes the Indian cartographers brought in to triangulate Hong Kong, Jeng He and his junks, missionary Simeone Volonteri and lovely ephemera including a 1915 tourist map of Victoria.
