Terrorists strike again in Europe in an attack that Belgian King Philippe described as “cowardly and despicable.” Our sympathies goes out to all the victims and families of those caught up in the Brussels atrocities. As well as inflicting a terrible human cost, fears are mounting about the economic costs on a fragile European economy of more frequent terrorist incidents. In Japan, the latest economic survey shows manufacturing once again contracting, as calls mount for the central bank to rethink its negative interest rate policy. And in China, the seven day rally in the Shanghai Composite Index has come to a halt. It may be a holiday shortened week for investors but there are plenty of things to discuss today. Joining us on this morning’s Money Talk are Stewart Aldcroft of CitiTrust and Louis Kuijs from Oxford Economics. We shall get our regular Wednesday view from the USA with RTHK’s international economics correspondent, Barry Wood. (8am-8.30am, email to moneytalk@rthk.hk,  text to 63 93 59 25,)
