The Irish Jesuits

China analyst and Irishman Mark O'Neill talks about the Irish Jesuits who came to Hong Kong in 1926 and four key men who served Hong Kong. Father Patrick Joy who helped found the Hong Kong Housing Society; Father Thomas Ryan who reforested Hong Kong after the Japanese occupation; Father Patrick McGovern, who pushed for workers' rights and trades unions and would come to Legco on a Vespa scooter; and Joseph Mallin, who died recently at the age of 104 and was the son of one of the executed leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising.
