Annemarie joins passionate cricket fan and Parsee Mani Vachha at Kowloon Cricket Club. Born in Karachi in 1930, Mani came to Hong Kong in the 1960s amid water shortages and bombs left on streets. She talks about Parsee embroidery, customs and food, plus getting on the wallahs wallahs in stilettoes back to Kowloon after a night out Hong Kong side.
Every week, journalist, broadcaster and local historian, Annemarie Evans, explores Hong Kong, digging up many (often forgotten or unknown) aspects of our cultural, architectural, and artistic heritage.
