Hong Kong Heritage - 90 Years of Broadcasting (Series 1, Part 2)

2018-06-09
In part two of a special series on Hong Kong Heritage throughout June marking the 90th anniversary of RTHK, we hear about longtime presenter Aileen Woods, who started out with her twin sister as a vaudeville singing act and first came to Hong Kong in 1919.  Then how Japanese occupying forces take the early radiio call sign ZBW  off the air and replace it with their own broadcasting.  While in Stanley camp during the war,  internees pay the ultimate price for smuggling a radio set in.
