Zhuge Villiage in Lanxi City, Zhejiang Province is found to be the place for most Zhuge Liang’s descendants to live. The village was built in accordance to the structure of eight trigrams. At the centre, there is a Zhong pond, with half of it is ground and the other half is a pond. There are eight streets stretching from the Zhong Pond to eight directions, forming another eight trigrams. Old houses inside the village are well conserved but the Zhuge’s culture does not, since there are threats of urbanization and the ageing of villagers. Luckily, there are still some villagers trying to preserve the tradition in their own ways.
