In Luoji Township in Shangri-La County, Yunnan Province, there is an isolated village called Niru. There are about 110 households in the village. The Niru believes in Bonism and lives a simple and harmonized way of life with the nature. Men has to stay in the pasture up on the hill while women and children stay in the village and do some farming. Because of their religion, they respect the nature very much. Though there are some villagers moved to town, they sometimes come back to Niru to enjoy the beautiful scenery in their hometown.
