The campaign sees to raise funds and awareness for Hong Kong charities over the winter holiday season.

Operation Santa Claus, raised $HK13,372,928 in 2010, the charity campaign’s third highest take ever. People showed their generosity by donating, hosting or participating in events to raise money as part of the campaign, co-organised by RTHK and the South China Morning Post.

OSC embraced the core themes of “charitable giving and corporate social responsibility in Hong Kong”. People from different organisations, schools and groups showed their compassion for 14 beneficiaries and two Social Enterprises. A closing ceremony was held in 20 January at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Hong Kong to announce the figure and to thank supporters.
